This is where you give an overview of the whole report.
First sentence state the purpose of the report, then describe what you did (chose a leader, observed them and interviewed them). Refer to your main findings and recommendations. Also refer to the fact you have developed a Leadership Development Plan.

Introduce the purpose and aim of the Report.
1.1 Outline what is involved in the report. Explain the structure of the report.
1.2 Give some background to the chosen leader. The leaders position, organisation, responsibilities and history

Describe how you collected the data.
Explain how you observed the leader
Explain how you designed your interview questions, the type of interview questions and how you conducted the interview

You may also wish to make recommendations in terms of your own leadership development and refer to your Leadership Development Plan= this can be an appendix
This is where you can take some of then quizzes from within the text to get an idea about your own leadership

Play up your strengths and work on your weaknesses

Never underestimate the value of a positive attitude – magnifies other favourable features
